The 6th Annual Walking in My Mother's Shoes will take place on May 12th & 13th, 2012, at The Rosseau, a JW Marriott Resort & Spa in Minett. Check out the videos to see what was shared last year.
What is “Walking in My Mother’s Shoes”?
This is a yearly event held around Mother's Day – a celebration of the lives of our mothers. It includes writing, painting, singing, sculpture, photography, drawings, collages, knitting, quilting, printmaking, drumming, and more! Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the celebration!
Saturday, May 12th, 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
An evening of music, poetry and spoken word tributes.
Sunday, May 13th, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Visual exhibit and interactive Spirit Painting workshop with Krysia Bower.
Admission by Donation
All donations received at this event go to support Grandmothers to Grandmothers, Muskoka Chapter, The Arts Council of Muskoka and the Muskoka Lakes Music Festival.

Walking in My Mother's Shoes is part of the Muskoka Literary Trail, an exciting initiative linking several different literary events and organizations around Muskoka. With events occurring throughout the district during the spring, summer and fall, literary enthusiasts can follow the trail to exciting author talks, book festivals, readings and presentations.
